iPhone News: Vodafone Sells 100,000 iPhones, RedSn0w 0.9 is out
Posted by admin on Saturday Jan 23, 2010 Under iPhone and iPad News and RumorsVodafone sold 100,000 iPhones in just 8 days. Now that’s a total dominatrix compared to the ‘other superphone’ that sold only 20,000 in a week. “The demand from both consumer and business customers has been phenomenal. They want an outstanding phone on an outstanding network and we’re delivering that,” claimed Vodafone UKCEO Guy Laurence. It’s only a matter of time that we will see RIM (supported by their small clueless IQ users in SEA) take the dive in the market share. It was said best by one of the reporters on MacBreak Weekly – ‘RIM still has the inertia but no longer has the momentum.’
Finally, redsn0w 0.9 Beta is out. It will allow iPhone and iPod Touch (except G3 Touches) users to jailbreak, unlock and customize their devices with iPhone OS 3.0 and iPhone OS 3.1.2. Great work Dev Team!
One small final note.
After receiving hundreds of millions of dollars in global donation for the Phuket tsunami relief – Thailand has officially donated $10,000 for the relief effort in Haiti – oops news flash – this just came in… after taking much heat for their ‘generous’ amount the Thai government has now increased their donation to $100,000. Does it take a genius to compare these numbers?
